when we are grieving, emotions flunctuate, tears come unexpectedly, and tt emptiness in our hearts, we feel, no one can understand. this entry is dedicated to one dear friend of mine - a great classmate, and a wonderful, funny friend. i dont think i wll be able to understand how she's feeling, or even comprehend the depth of her pain, but i just want her to know, that the whole class is with her, and always willing to stand by her.
while we were all going about doing what we enjoyed doing, relaxing, having fun, she was in tears - that i cannot get out of my mind. how i wish i was there, how i wished we were all there to hold her hand in those moments of uncertainty and shock.
but she will be strong, i know it, because she is who she is. and i will be there waiting for her to smile at me again, and say, "hi, velda!" when i meet her in school.
princess kiko gave birth to a baby boy today. the boy who will, in the future, become japan's emperor. somewhere in the world, people are celebrating, while people are grieving. yet without this continuous miracle of birth and death, we would not be where we are now.
